In the sixth form of the omote set the kamayari parries a thrust to his uramen in kamuriuke. The following makikaeshi is done very slowly and with a lot of tension.
Both spears begin from gedan.
On the third step the suyari thrusts towards the uramen of the kamayari who parries in kamuriuke. He then applies makikaeshi bringing his spear and the suyari into yarigamae, the right sickle resting on the suyari. During this the suyari retreats two steps while the kamayari pursues two steps. Both of them perform this action slowly maintaining tension and zanshin.
After this both spears disengage and return to their starting positions.
